As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Employment Law Solicitor to lead their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the employment law department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal advice and services.
Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of employment law solicitors and support staff.
Advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to, contracts, disputes, redundancies, dismissals, and TUPE transfers.
Represent clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in employment law and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities for growth within the department.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive service offering to clients.Requirements
Qualified solicitor with 5 years plus -qualification experience in employment law.
Proven track record in managing a team and delivering outstanding legal services.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
