Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.
Here at Crosby, we have a team of around 300 colleagues. We produce sushi for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Asda, Aldi, Co-op, Morrisons and Sainsbury's.
What you'll be doing
We are looking to recruit a Engineering Planner to join our site at Crosby.Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Responsible for the control of the departments planned activities ensuring maintenance standards and practices are in place and to ensure that the company's installed assets are maintained in a timely manner thereby maximising equipment availability and compliance to statutory and Health and Safety regulations.
Share maintenance plans with operations / technical and supply chain to ensure cross functional communication.
To organise plan, schedule and control all planned maintenance and engineering activities.
To chair daily meetings, to develop and review Department KPI's with the Engineering management team.
To develop and implement formal maintenance schedules to ensure maximum availability of operational equipment and utilisation of engineering personnel.

As one of our Engineering Planner, you will have:
Educated to GSCE level or equivalent experience working within an Engineering environment.
FMCG knowledge supported by experience of working in a fast-paced seasonal environment
Awareness and experience of engineering and contractor deployment and management
Attention to detail skill and ability to prioritise
Can demonstrate analytical thinking coupled with a strong assertive character.
Experience working with computers including experience of a CMMS system
