Role involves:nTechnical Support:nRespond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person.nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.nInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.nSet up and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.nAssist with printer and peripheral device setup and troubleshooting.nUser Assistance:nProvide user guidance and training on using software applications and systems.nOffer technical assistance to non-technical end-users in a clear and user-friendly manner.nAddress user questions and concerns, ensuring a positive customer service experience.nHardware Maintenance:nPerform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed.nSoftware Management:nAssist with software installations, updates, and patches.nTroubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.nDocumentation:nMaintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and hardware/software inventory through the use of Ivanti ISMnCreate and update user guides, knowledge base articles, and documentation as necessary.nCollaboration:nCollaborate with wider CST teams for problem resolution and technology enhancements.
QualificationsnDesirable Qualifications:nMicrosoft Certified: Windows 10nMicrosoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Work ExperiencenDemonstrable experience in desktop support or desk-side user support.nWorking technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.nAbility to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.nSoftware and Hardware TroubleshootingnWindows 10/11 and Microsoft Office (M365)nExperience with InTunenEligible for UK Security ClearancenGood communication (both verbal and written) skillsnPowerShell Experience would be advantageous in this rolenPlanning and organisation skills and administration management.including the ability to manage time effectively, set priorities appropriately, schedule callsnAble to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team membersnAble to operate with minimal supervisionnAble to operate within customer-standard operating procedures
