Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives on a Night Shift to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am. 46 Hours per week.
*Training will take place on a day shift Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm, typically for 1-3 weeks.
As a Production Operative in the Wax Assembly department main duties will include:
* Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems
* Use of machinery and hand tools
* Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax
* Attaching riser system to the wax moulds
* Quality checking products
* Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
* Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
Requirements
Full training will be provided but to be successful you will need:
* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
* A light touch and a good degree of manual dexterity as you are handling delicate materials.
* Previous experience using hand tools or working with small parts.
* A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
* You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
* Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided.
