Head of Finance – FinTech SaaS

City of London office (2 days per week)

£120/125k + bonus + benefits


Talentedge are pleased to be partnering with a FinTech scaleup whose SaaS platform is used for global trading.


Over the last 5 years since their founding, they have scaled to 500+ members of staff based across their global operations (UK, Europe, APAC and US).


We are are seeking an ambitious and progressive Head of Finance to lead their finance function, partnering closely with the Global CEO / Founder.

Key responsibilities to include:


Financial reporting:

  • Own the delivery of board pack including consolidated monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries
  • Statutory reporting and tax work
  • Point of contact for audit


Commercial Finance / FP&A:

  • Lead on company-wide budgeting, forecasting and planning
  • Financial and non-financial KPI analysis and reporting


Process implementation:

  • Support international expansion including setting up new entities
  • Continually look to improve processes and controls, using technology where possible to automate
  • Improve tech stack


Team management:

  • Lead a global finance team consisting of a Financial Controller based in London and locally based accountants in operational regions


Profile:

  • Qualified accountant who has relevant PQE within a high-growth technology scaleup with international operations
  • Recognised Head of Finance / Finance Director, who is a strong business partner to Founder & Board
  • Established business partner who is capable of advising, challenging and influencing stakeholders
  • Excellent team management skills, within proven experience of mentoring a global finance team
  • Experienced with improving and where required re-building systems and processes
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and data driven in approach, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
