Job description
An amazing primary school in Manchester are on the hunt for a passionate qualified British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Assistant. This is a part-time position, starting in September 2024 for the entire academic year. There is an opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing communication support to KS1 pupil with hearing impairment and communication difficulties, enabling them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
Job Specification
Role: British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Assistant
Daily Rate: £90 – £120/day
Location: Manchester
Start Date: September 2024
Duration: July 2025
Full-time/Part-time: Part-time
Hours: 8:30-3:30
Experience, Training & Qualifications
*Level 2 or above Certificate in British Sign Language
*Introduction to Safeguarding – Available FREE via Suppleo Education

*Right to work in UK
*Two references
*Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (formerly CRB check) – available via Suppleo Education
