This role, within our family run business, would suit a candidate with experience in a similar position as well as a positive attitude to fit in with our company ethos.

As a Head Chef you will produce exceptional food to impress our customers, inspire and develop the entire kitchen team and ensure the highest level of standards are reached.

*The Role*

You will support and assist the smooth running of our café, as the Head Chef you will be;

- Overseeing the food preparation process

- Menu planning and seasonal specials

- Working closely with other Chefs of all levels

- Ensuring the kitchen adheres to all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines

- Maintain professional relationships with staff, customers and suppliers

- Working patterns include weekends, school and public holidays as these are out busiest times but a bonus of day shifts only, no evenings

To succeed as the Head Chef, we would expect you to;

- Demonstrate flair and innovation

- Attention to detail

- Ability to communicate effectively with Management and team members, both back and front of house

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

- Excellent team player and a desire to develop, inspire and motivate the team of employees

- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 required

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
