Vacancy Description: Private Law Solicitor – Family Dept.
Location: Bolton/Bury Office
Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.
We have a vacancy for a private law solicitor who can run a caseload of divorce/finance and
children files to work in a busy family department based in either Bolton or Bury.
The position will involve travel to courts and other offices therefore candidate must have a car
available for work use.
Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.
Job role
Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the
following duties:
? Run own private caseload and work independently
? Capability of undertaking a mix of Legal Aid & Private Family work in all areas
? Ability to use CCMS and have a sound understanding of legal aid criteria
Skills Required
? Experience in private law
? Good organisational skills
? Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)
? Good communication skills
? Good IT skills
? Ability to work well within a team
? Friendly and professional manner
