Responsibilities:
Assist the teaching team in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
Support the creation of an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning needs, including those with SEND.
Implement diverse teaching strategies to meet various learning styles and needs.
Aid in classroom management to maintain a productive learning space.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and prepare educational materials and resources.
Support students during activities, assignments, and assessments.
Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff members.
Keep accurate records and documentation as required.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field preferred.
Previous experience working with children, particularly in a primary school setting.
Experience with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Understanding of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching methods.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a dedication to supporting students' learning and well-being.
Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively within a team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
Having a valid DBS which is in the update service.
