We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team in an educational setting. This is a temporary position, with full-time hours expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 interventions to students, offering support in various subjects such as literacy, numeracy, reading and writing.
  • Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) and provide behavioural support when necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and ensure the well-being and safety of students at all times.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification.
  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and behavioural support techniques.
  • Ability to effectively support students in their reading and writing development.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a temporary position, and you will be expected to work full-time hours.
  • You will work closely with students and other professionals in an educational setting.

Compensation:
