Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to take on a full-time role based in London’s Shaftsbury Avenue. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in servicing, maintenance, reactive repairs, and fault finding, with the capability to install AC systems as needed. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of air conditioning systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, determining the most effective repair methods.
* Carry out installations of air conditioning systems as required.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain and manage filter replacement schedules.
* Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry developments to continually improve service quality.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all service calls, maintenance activities, and repairs.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in air conditioning engineering with strong references.
* In-depth knowledge of air conditioning systems, including servicing, maintenance, and installation.
* Experience with service checking (desirable, but training is available for the right candidate).
* F-Gas Certification (City and Guilds 2079) is required.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and management.
* Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments.
* Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical components.
* Experience with Safety Culture software is advantageous.
* Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
