As (Senior/Principal) Device Engineer, you will join Nexperia's talented and ambitious GaN R&D team, directly contributing to our ability to successfully produce GaN devices.
This is your new job:
*
Lead power device design and simulation
*
Develop and own GaN device designs and layouts using layout tools and/or GaN device concepts using TCAD tools
*
Drive benchmarking and understanding of competitor technologies
*
Collaborate closely with product, reliability and application engineers to develop GaN technology solutions that benefit product performance, quality and customer requirements
*
Consider all product aspects from design-to-manufacturing to effective cost structure
This is you:
*
PhD or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline
*
In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs
*
Proven experience in design of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs
*
Proficiency either with layout tools (i.e. Cadence, Klayout) or TCAD tools (Synopsys Sentaurus preferred)
*
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
*
Team player with strong problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
