As (Senior/Principal) Test and Characterization Engineer, you will join Nexperia's talented and ambitious GaN R&D team, directly contributing to our ability to successfully produce GaN devices.
This is your new job:
*
Lead electrical verification strategy, encompassing front-end, back-end and lab testing
*
Own test and characterization concepts and implementation. Solve issues and propose new solutions for test and characterization setups.
*
Collaborate closely with device, product and application engineers to develop test solutions that benefit product development, quality and customer requirements
*
Consider all product aspects from design-to-manufacturing to effective cost structure
This is you:
*
Minimum Master's Degree or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline, PhD preferred
*
Proven experience in test and characterization for power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs
*
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
*
Team player with strong problem solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
*
Candidates with proven experience in GaN power electronics design and applications are also encouraged to apply
