Composite Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Composite Technician at a Aviation company. You'll be joining an established team of experienced Engineers in a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing and certifying the Rectification of defects IAW Approved Maintenance Data
Component Changes arising from Schedule Maintenance Inspections
Perform Maintenance Tasks that fall within Scope of Workshop Authorisation
Fluent in performing General Visual Inspections, Detailed Visual Inspections and other methods of Surveillance Inspection, Maintenance Checks and Tasks as defined within limitations of Approved Authorisation.
Will issue Certificate Release to Service.
Will develop and train and knowledge share and provide coaching
Perform PC based documentary transactions as required.
Requirements and Experience:
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
Recognised education qualification, ie NVQ Level 2 or HNC
Experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment as appropriate to hold workshop authorisation
Experience of working with SAP and Production support processes
Understanding of internal procedures and awareness of Quality, Health Safety, Human Factors and Environmental legislative requirements
PC literate and good understanding of BA Engineering IT systems
Salary: £48324
Shift: 4 on 4 off 12 hour days (6am-6pm)
