Our client is a prominent leader in the industrial and manufacturing industry, being part of a larger International group.
Description
Lead the design and development of new industrial products.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality and efficiency.
Utilise CAD software to create and modify designs.
Participate in product testing and validation activities.
Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
Contribute to project planning and time line development.
Research and implement new design techniques and technologies.
Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team.Profile
A successful Senior Design Engineer should have:
A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
3D modelling & 2D detailing using CAD software (CREO, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS or other similar).
BOM maintenance (Bills of material) on business planning software
Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes (e.g. plastic injection mouldings).
Familiar with DFMEA analysis and documentation
Familiarity with integrating electrical systems into mechanical design.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
