Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Covering the North 
Salary: Up to £60k (DOE)
Working Hours: 40hrs per week
The Business Development Manager will proactively work to identify & execute new business development opportunities & customers. Develop sales channels within the company's key growth sector. Work with Design on new products and expand sales base.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:
Driving increasing business revenue, identifying and developing new opportunities
Build and expand the presence of the company and its brands
Identify new markets and research emerging trends
Manage a sales pipeline to meet annual sales targets
Develop deep product knowledge
Ensure customers receive exceptional experiences and maintain regular communication, including in-person visits.
Qualify leads and discover client needs
Developing and management of existing customers
Business Development Manager must report to the Sales & Business Development Director when required
Promote and act in accordance with group policies, values, systems and procedures.
Key requirements of Business Development Manager:
Must hold previous experience working with corrugated packaging.
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
Able to negotiate price changes with new and existing clients.
Business Development Manager must have tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
Previous experience in Business Development and Sales within a manufacturing business.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good PC/computer skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver against deadlines.
