The School and Role:
This large, SEN School, based in Leeds are looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant  to work with pupils aged 5-11 on a Full-Time basis. Working in this SEN School as part of an established team, the desired candidate will be working on a small group basis in KS1- KS2 with pupils with SEN. This will require working with pupils on their education whilst also working with them on their needs. This school is great for job progression as the school is always keen to help Teaching Assistant’s progress in their career and work within the school. This Full-Time role is long term and potentially permanent if successful.
Requirements:
The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;
A passion for working with children with additional needs
To understand and support the varying needs of the pupils
Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of, and responding appropriately to individual needs.
A passion for the progress of children with SEN needs
An ability to work as part of a team
Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of, and responding appropriately to individual needs.
