We are on a mission to recruit a proactive Founder's Associate for an innovative African fintech expanding from Kenya and Lagos into London. We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join the team for an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for a full-time hybrid role based in London for the ideal candidate.


Role Overview:

As a Founder's Associate, you will work directly with the CEO and the senior leadership team to tackle a variety of high-impact tasks. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, from strategic initiatives to everyday operational details.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales and Marketing:  Drive sales efforts and marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Service:  Enhance our customer service experiences.
  • Product Development:  Assist in the optimization of existing products.
  • CRM Systems:  Optimize, manage and be the knowledge hub for our CRM systems.
  • Branding and Presentation:  Support branding initiatives and prepare presentations.
  • Operations:  Contribute to operational efficiency and processes within the payments team.
  • Industry Learning:  Gain insights into the payment industry and emerging markets, particularly in Africa.
  • Compliance:  Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • Finance:  Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Data : Candidates with strong understanding of data analysis, creating dashboards and reports using Power BI and familiarity with tools like Tableau, is a massive plus.



Who We Are Looking For:
  • Recent Graduate:  Someone with 0-2 years of experience in an agency, finance, marketing, or startup role.
  • Versatile Skills:  Ability to work across multiple areas such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, and compliance.
  • High Performer:  Proven track record of high performance.
  • Self-Starter:  Motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change.
  • Tech-Savvy:  Experience with CRM software or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Startup Enthusiast:  Excited about joining an early-stage company.
  • Energetic and Articulate:  Strong communication skills and cultural fit are crucial.
