The Role- Departmental Leadership: Oversee the overall direction and development of the Computer Science department.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging Computer Science curriculum that prepares students for success.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of dedicated Computer Science teachers.
- Student Success: Promote student achievement and success in Computer Science.
- External Relations: Represent the department within the school and wider community.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Computer Science department aligned with the schools overall vision.
- Staff Development: Provide professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
- Resource Management: Manage and allocate departmental resources effectively.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Oversee the assessment and evaluation of student progress.
- External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external organizations and institutions.
- Experienced Computer Science Teacher: With a proven track record of success in teaching Computer Science at a senior level.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent Subject Knowledge: A deep understanding of computer science concepts theories and current trends.
