Role Overview: As an Account Specialist in Respiratory Pharmaceuticals, you will be a pivotal part of the primary care team, responsible for promoting and selling the range of respiratory products across Kent. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with their patients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within Kent.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with GPs, practice nurses, and other primary care professionals.
  • Provide expert knowledge and support on respiratory pharmaceutical products, including product features, benefits, and clinical evidence.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence in the CRM system.
  • Attend and participate in relevant industry events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, ideally within the respiratory or primary care sector.
  • Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and related treatments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Kent.
