Job purposenTo strengthen our Manufacturing team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, Maintenance Technician with determination, ambition and self-motivation to support the drive for growth in our Manufacturing Division. We are a highly reputable and respected company and are seeking a talented individual to join our friendly and professional team.

Responsibilities

- Respond immediately to equipment and machinery failure, conducting systematic, rigorous and accurate root cause analysis (fault finding)n- Carry out Preventative Maintenance Tasks as scheduledn- Determine cause of potential failures or performance deterioration and if possible complete remedial work or escalate to Operational Management with issue ,cause and recommended solutionn- Be aware of all incidents from other shifts and work with Operational Management to promptly implement solutions to prevent reoccurrencen- Ensure equipment is handed back to production in 100% safe conditionn- Keep maintenance and breakdown records of all Operational machineryn- Monitoring of spares levels and report when stocks are lown- Manage Statutory Equipment on site i.e. fire alarm, security systemsn- Contribute to specific projects as assigned by Senior Managementn- Regularly observe the operation of all equipment, identifying causes of reduction in output, yield losses or quality problems. Developing and recommending solutions to Continually Improve the operational performance of all equipment and Machinery.

Qualityn- Information/feedback – understand the need for documentation, its control and trace ability for all operational equipmentn- Maintain good housekeeping working to the principles of , Good Engineering Practices, Lean Manufacturing , 5S and TQMn- Understand Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA) system in problem solvingn- Understand working parameters of machines and principles of Planned Preventative Maintenance, product specification conformity, QC checking/recording/reporting and traceability.n- Quality of finished Goods, Non Conformance and Completion Rates

Performance

- Understand the capability/capacity of the operations department processesn- Understand machine rates, SPC and Performance OEEn- Understanding of department targets and objectives.n- Capable of root cause analysis to predict and eliminate operational problemsn- Utilization of Continuous Improvement Techniques at all times throughout Factory

Health & Safety

- Act on and monitor actions as instructed by Senior/Line Manager.n- Monitor H&S actions, report faults to HSEQ Managern- PPE compliancen- Conduct Risk Assessments prior to any maintenance work, ensuring hazard are mitigated to a safe leveln- Ensure Compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation

Skills and Experience

- A relevant qualification in engineeringn- Fault finding knowledge on; motors / sensors / panel equipment / bearings / cylinders / valvesn- Ability to read electrical / mechanical drawings and fault find from them.n- Computer literate (MS Office)
