We are seeking a talented and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a minimum 2 years experience and a keen interest in expanding their expertise within information security.

Working as an extension of our clients teams, including some of the UKs largest organisations, you will have a strong foundation of 2nd and 3rd line support experience, knowledge and understanding of security policies and processes along with strong communication, presentation and critical thinking/analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration

Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft Azure

Active Directory

Windows 10, 11

Windows Virtual Desktop

Basic Networking

Infrastructure Monitoring Tools

Autopilot, Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM

Monitoring and analysing security alerts to detect and respond to basic security incidents

First port of call for security related support and questions.

Understanding of information security processes and procedures

Employee security awareness and training initiatives

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in infrastructure management and information security

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a 2nd/3rd line infrastructure engineer role

Strong technical skills including, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory and Microsoft Defender or equivalent

Knowledge and understanding of security alerts and experience responding to security incidents

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desirable skills,?knowledge?and Experience:

BSc/MSc Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Certifications in Information Security and /or Information Technology, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent, are a bonus

Awareness of Information Security Policies and Frameworks plus vulnerability management and Risk Assessments
