We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to a prestigious nuclear energy project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems that meet stringent safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for nuclear energy projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct electrical system analysis, including load flow, short-circuit, and protective device coordination studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input and recommendations.
- Support the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the design and development process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within the nuclear industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, analysis techniques, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using engineering design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools).
- Experience with nuclear safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
