This Transport Operations Manager role comes with a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
As Transport Operations Manager you will:
Ensure all fleet operations including asset management is run effectively.
Manage the divisions budgets ensuring that revenue is maximised.
Optimise the movement of all company products including feedstock and Bio Fertiliser.
Reduce third party costs in reference to haulage.
Ensure the operations administration team are managed effectively whilst working in line with all legislative requirements.
Assist with supply chain management including developing contracts with key customers.
Liaise with internal divisions within the company to ensure and maintain internal collaboration.
Prepare site forecasts and budgets whilst controlling costs.
Identify and support direct reports with training and development.
Any other management duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
The ideal candidate would hold a bachelor's degree in Logistics Management.
Alternatively have a proven background leading a team within an operations department from a food recycling transportation industry.
Compliant with the requirements of the office of the Traffic Commissioner, associated licensing and all things transport.
Full UK Driving License
Personal skills
The Transport Operations Manager role would suit someone who:
Shows an honest and consistent approach to work.
Is an excellent team player with great interpersonal skills.
Has proven people management skills.
