Penns are delighted to be assisting our client in recruiting 2 strong Business development managers. The ideal candidates will have the ability to contact hospitals throughout the British Isles identifying potential client that they can work with. Setting up meeting via teams as well as occasional face to face appointments. You need to be very organised and have the ability to pick up on opportunities. An knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage but not essential. What is essential is a self motivated individuals that can demonstrate a high level of influencing and communication skills along with the ability to proactively make decisions where appropriate to benefit the team and clients. In return a competitive salary and bonus structure is on offer.
You will be:
* Responsibility for generating new leads for in-sourcing contracts across existing and new clinical specialities.
* Responsibility for developing new business through implementing proactive business development strategies.
* Responsibility for the delivery of business development objectives as needed.
* Ensure business proposals to meet in-sourcing service needs.
* Raise the profile and market our in-sourcing service in collaboration with the Client and their Service Operational Managers.
* Be responsive and proactive in order to address any requests or service issues raised by the client in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with the client’s expectations.
* Understanding of the client’s clinical service and in doing so be able to offer a range of additional and new services in order to bring further business benefit to the client.
* Act as the first point of contact for all new service sales related enquiries.
The ideal candidate will
* Be analytical by nature; having a strong eye for detail.
* Be a strong communicator both written and verbally.
* Be motivated and have experience of working to targets and deadlines.
* Have experience of providing proactive and personalised customer service
* Be accurate and methodical in their approach to work with an eye for the detail.
* Have the ability to challenge and question ideas, whilst providing alternative solutions
* Show excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise your day.
* Have the ability to work well under pressure and be a keen problem solver.
* Have the ability to adapt to change and new ways of working.
* Have excellent IT skills to ideally include CRM databases.
* Willing to travel where appropriate
Skills required
* Able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and high levels of self-motivation.
* Demonstrate flexibility and agility to support the delivery of business objectives.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise a busy and often conflicting workload.
* Possess a willingness to learn in a constant changing environment.
* A flexible and professional approach, remaining calm under pressure.
* Experience of Budget drafting and control processes
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident communicating with managers and senior-level individuals
* Reliable and responsible
* Word, MS Teams/Outlook, Excel (Advanced)
Note:
Sales commissions will be reviewed after success completion of probation period when the role the role has clearer measurable sales metrics/targets.
