What you'll be doing;
Overseeing the organisation's daily operations and managing the business aspects of the company.
Ensuring health and safety is a key priority for our people.
Formulating strategy and improving performance.
Procuring material and resources, securing compliance and managing costs to allow projects to be delivered safely and on time.
Mentoring and developing your team, finding ways to increase quality of customer service and implementing best practices.
Maintaining the plant and resource tracker to plan and allocating resources at all levels to meet the operational requirements.
Monitoring and managing unallocated resource to minimise where possible, producing forecasts for business reports.
Interacting and engaging with internal teams for new and current projects.
Attending NFDC regional and national meetings throughout the year to maintain the company accreditation, completing annual NFDC returns and inputting into the annual NFDC audit.
Maintaining the KDCV Waste Carriers License.
Attending monthly accounts and budget reviews.
What we're looking for;
Experience working in decommissioning / demolition or related industries.
Commercially aware to safely bring in projects on time and to budget.
Effective people management and leadership.
Customer relationship management skills.
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Undertaking root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
Ability to delegate through empowerment and trust.
Financial management, cost control P&L responsibility
Fleet management and risk management experience.
Asbestos awareness desirable.
