As a General Forperson/Foreman, you will be at the forefront of our project, overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site. You will ensure that the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of site personnel and subcontractors.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
Maintain high standards of work quality and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Oversee the use and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and company policies.
Manage site documentation and records.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the civil engineering or construction sector.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Valid CSCS card (or equivalent).
