Your new company
Hays have been approached by a fantastic Leyland Primary School and, due to an increase in pupils from September, they are looking to appoint multiple highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic learning support assistants to join their dedicated and aspirational school team. This role will be starting in September and will be on a permanent basis, working 5 days a week. Hays has worked with this school for a number of years and has always had good feedback from staff placed there. The schools provision strives for excellence, to meet the needs of children.
Your new role
As this will be a full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the class team in teaching and learning activities that meet the needs of all children. You will be expected to support the class as well as supporting the staff team in teaching and learning activities that meet the needs of all the children. This is a great supportive and caring team and an environment dedicated to supporting wellbeing for all with laughter in the team through the day. The school are willing to take individuals on with limited experience so please get in touch if you think this would be something for you.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children and ideally previously experience supporting SEN children, but this is not essential. You should feel confident working with children in a 1:1 setting as well as being friendly and enthusiastic. You will need to be available to start from September.
