You will be working within a growing business to develop and validate new products, ensuring the quality, validity, commercial attractiveness, and manufacture ability of new product ranges.
You will also be come a product specialist across the business is portfolio, and be providing a Technical Support to all quality and sales questions.
You will have a quality first mentality, and have a strong appreciation of product suitability and customer service.
You will have a good understanding of access control, security, mechanical locking systems, and electromechanical integration
Day to Day of the role:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and manage product specifications, aligning with customer requirements and industry standards.
Oversee product testing processes, including performance evaluations, quality control tests, and certification procedures.
Manage the certification process for products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
Provide technical guidance and support, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop and deliver technical training materials and sessions.
Manage the master keying process, including system design, implementation, and maintenance.
Establish and maintain quality control processes to assess product quality post-production.
Perform technical visits to customer sites to provide hands-on support and training.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in technical management, lock manufacturing industry experience is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of product specification, testing processes, market research, and quality management systems.
Familiarity with master keying principles, including key system design and implementation.
Full UK driving license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Benefits:
