Revenues Team Leader (2 posts available)nBased at King’s Court Council Offices, King’s LynnnStarting salary between £28,536 and £34,629 per annumnIf you have excellent working and technical knowledge of all aspects of council tax and business rates billing, collection, and recovery along with supervisory experience we have the perfect post for you.nAs one of the two team leaders, you will be responsible for the staff, workload, and performance of the Revenues Team, managing and motivating staff to their best performance levels and supporting their personal and professional development.nYou will also provide technical information and opinion on council tax and business rates matters and manage the external enforcement agents. In addition, you will manage the ad-hoc system jobs including bill extracts, direct debit runs and recovery notice production.nYou will hold the IRRV Technician qualification (or other comparable technical qualification) with significant experience in a Revenues or Benefits environment including experience using jobs on the core Civica (OpenRevenues) Revenues and Benefits system. With excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, you will be able to deal with a wide range of customers.nYou will have or be working towards a management qualification with an understanding of management and motivation tools and techniques and able to apply this to staff. You will also have experience of target-based appraisal systems and appraising staff performance.nPlease click the
