£12.50 per hour
St Helens
Brook Street Social Care are now recruiting Support Workers to work with our client's childrens secure unit in the WA11 area.
Providing secure and open facilities for young people aged between 10 and 17, our primary function is to offer protection to young people when they are in crisis and provide a support pathway for the future.
Duties:
Responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people
Treating them with compassion and respect.
Provide essential support to our young people with education, health, independence and build their self-confidence.
Managing challenging behaviour, self harm and substance misuse.
A Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People's workforce or equivalent would be a great advantage but not essential.
