Our reinsurance industry client, with international operations, is seeking an FP&A Analyst

to join their team.

We are seeking an experienced professional who will be able to leverage their experience and skills to improve and expand a robust forecasting process to include the preparation of budgets, provide financial analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making and maximize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:nProviding leadership in annual planning process, working with cross-functional teams in multiple jurisdictions.nPreparing and presenting annual budgets and forecasts to executive team and re-forecasting on a quarterly basis.nAnalyzing actual financial results against forecasts and providing variance analysis and insights.nImplementing forecasting tools and developing financial models improve efficiency and effectiveness.nPerforming scenario testing and sensitivity analysis on a variety of forecasts.nAssisting in preparing presentations for executive team and the board.nUnderstand and model reinsurance contracts, improve accuracy of forecasted reinsurance cash flows and collateral requirements.nAssisting with data and analysis for preparation of SEC reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K).

General RequirementsnA bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or Accounting. CPA/ACCA designation would be advantageous.n5 years of experience in the (re) insurance industry, at least 2 of which in financial planning and analysis.nProficient in financial models and data analytics and in the use of planning and forecasting tools.nStrong analytical skills and a high level of attention to details while meeting deadlines.nSolid understanding of Excel and Power Query.nA knowledge of SICS reinsurance system and/or SAP Business Objects would be an asset.nExcellent ability to communicate verbally and interact with all levels of the company.

LocationnFlexibility to be located in one of following:nGrand Cayman, Cayman IslandsnDublin, IrelandnLondon, UK

Salary will be competitive (based on office location) with bonus potential and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical insurance and pension package.
