Are you a skilled and experienced financial professional seeking an opportunity to drive strategic decision-making within a dynamic, global organization? My client, a world leader in market research, is currently looking for a Group FP&A Analyst to join the UK finance function. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and insightful financial information, empowering key stakeholders to make informed strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:nCollaborate with divisional and regional finance leads to oversee annual budgets and periodic forecasts.nConduct variance analysis to provide insights into actual performance versus budget, forecast, and prior years.

Reporting & Presentation:nPrepare and distribute regular financial reports to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations.nAnalyse monthly and quarterly P&L reports, providing insightful commentary on divisional results.nLead the consolidation of financial data from multiple business divisions.nCoordinate and prepare monthly and quarterly business review decks for Divisional and Corporate Leadership.

Systems & Data:nDevelop tools and processes to drive continuous improvement in financial data and analytics.nAct as a subject matter expert for Finance and Management reporting systems.nDrive best practices throughout the Global Finance Function, ensuring standardized approaches to reporting, analysis, and processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:nWork closely with other finance departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies.nPartner cross-functionally in projects with the wider divisional finance community, Group, and Corporate FP&A to drive data integrity and timely and accurate management reporting.

Qualifications:nCIMA/ACCA qualified or Masters in Finance/Business.nAt least 3 years of direct experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably within a large, matrixed organization.nProficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial planning software is a plus.nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
