Role Summary
Are you an experienced and highly organised Occupational Health Advisor looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join the expanding team and help our clients fulfil their statutory duties to protect and promote workplace health, safety, and welfare. We seek a reliable and motivated professional with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You should be committed to ongoing professional development, possess the ability to analyse and interpret data, and demonstrate problem-solving skills to meet the needs of our business and clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and passionate about supporting organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting workplace assessments
* Reporting on health risks
* Performing routine health surveillance
* Conducting pre-placement screenings
* Assessing fitness-for-work
* Managing case management, both in person and remotely, and producing quality reports for clients
* Maintaining health records, ensuring safe storage, security, and confidentiality in compliance with relevant legislation and best practices
* Adhering to strict protocols and procedures set by MCL Medics in line with SEQOHS accreditation
What Are We Looking For?
* RGN/RMN with prior Occupational Health Advisor experience
* Current NMC Registration
* Occupational Health qualification (desirable; relevant experience considered)
* Proactive, friendly, and professional individuals confident in managing their workload
* Contribution towards safe working practices across the OH delivery team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to suggest ideas and improvements for more effective working practices
* Good understanding of Microsoft packages, and comfortable using OH software
