Job Title: Accounts Senior 
Salary: £35,000
Location: London - Oxford Circus 
Permanent: Office based 
  
JGA are partnered with a independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants who are seeking a Accounts Senior for their expanding team. 
  
The Role:
Dealing directly with a portfolio of clients for regular and ad hoc assignments.
Preparing statutory accounts, tax returns and management information for clients.
Undertake audit work in accordance with ISA’s.
Preparing statutory accounts, tax returns and management information for clients.
Help supervise and develop junior members of staff.
Help manage clients’ accounts and compliance work.
Develop professional relationships with clients and within the firm. Skills Required:
The must have a professional manner and excellent communication and customer care skills.
Achieved part qualification at ACCA - a study support package will be considered.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice dealing with VAT, bookkeeping and accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software is essential.
Previous experience in Sage and Xero would be useful.
Previous auditing experience would be preferable, but not essential.
Good understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of accuracy required.
