Assistant Producer - Social Media (Youtube shorts, Instagram, TikTok)
Must be a running enthusiast
We're partnering with an innovative, fast-growing media company leading the way in producing engaging digital content for a global audience. With a passionate and dedicated team, they focus on creating high-quality, impactful media that connects and inspires their vibrant community, especially within the fitness and running space. They are on a mission to bring people together through dynamic, relatable content that celebrates an active, healthy lifestyle.
We are looking for a creative and organized Assistant Producer (Social) with a passion for running, or who is a runner themselves. In this role, you will play a key part in producing innovative short-form content for social platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You’ll be involved in everything from planning and organising video shoots to writing scripts and social media copy. Your ability to spot the latest trends, combined with your enthusiasm for running, will help shape creative, engaging content that resonates deeply with the active audience.
Our client is renowned for their high-energy, community-driven approach to digital content, with a strong focus on running and fitness. They are dedicated to inspiring people to move and live healthier lifestyles, and their content is loved by runners and fitness enthusiasts worldwide. If you’re passionate about running and know how to translate that into dynamic social media content, this could be the perfect opportunity to join a brand that's making a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute engaging short-form video shoots, managing all logistics including scheduling, equipment, and personnel.
- Develop compelling scripts for video shoots that align with the brand’s voice and resonate with the running community.
- Write effective, on-brand copy for social media posts across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh content ideas to the table and keeping up with the latest trends to help the team stay relevant.
- Keep track of emerging social media trends, and suggest how they can be adapted into content that appeals to runners and fitness enthusiasts.
- Assist with video shooting and editing as needed, ensuring high-quality content that’s in line with the brand’s aesthetic.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader marketing strategies and goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media content production, particularly short-form video.
- A passion for running or being a runner yourself is essential to connect with the target audience and create authentic, relatable content.
- Strong organizational skills and experience in managing the logistics of video shoots.
- Creativity and an ability to stay on top of social media trends, especially within the fitness and running space.
- Experience with scriptwriting and social media copywriting.
- Knowledge of filming equipment and basic video editing (experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut is a bonus).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a dynamic team.
What You'll Receive in Return:
- This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that shares your passion for running and fitness. You’ll be part of a team that encourages creativity, embraces innovation, and is committed to making an impact on a growing global community of runners.
- Private health insurance (Vitality)
- Running shoes and fitness gear provided
- Monthly team lunches and bi-annual team away days
- A dynamic, exercise-friendly office environment
