FINTEC recruit is seeking a CAD Engineer for an engineering business based in Southampton, working with process pipework.  This is a permanent role with salary £30,000 to £35,000.  This role would be suited to a graduate or junior engineer looking to develop their career further in AutoCad and piping isometrics and steelwork drawings.
Responsibilities:
Undertaking CAD modelling and design work for piping systems

Produce piping isometrics and detailed steelwork drawings suitable for fabrication

Extract and create isometric drawings from GA/3D models

Ensure all designs adhere to P&IDs, industry standards, codes, and client specifications
Skills and Experience required for the CAD Engineer role:
Experienced in using AutoCAD

Previous experience or qualified in mechanical engineering

Familiarity with ASME and BS EN standards is crucial.

Knowledge of piping design and calculations is a significant asset

Hold a current UK driving licence
