Employment Solicitor/CILEX Position
We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced employment solicitor or CILEX to join our small team on a full-time or part-time basis for up to one year. The role involves handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and effective advice to public sector clients on employee relations matters.
Review policies, procedures, and contracts.
Advise on equalities obligations.
Conduct and support employment tribunals.
Advise on TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings - Protection of Employment) and a wide range of other employment issues. Preferred Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
In-depth understanding of primary and secondary legislation as it pertains to local authorities.
