A top tier City law firm with strong values and known to be one of the friendliest and most inclusive firms is seeking an experienced paralegal to join their banking & finance department.


The Role

Duties the successful paralegal can look forward to include:

  • Managing conditions precedent
  • Liaising with the lender's or borrower's solicitor, offshore counsel and other members of the team and firm
  • Assisting with preparation of loan and security documentation, preparing notices to banks, insurers, occupational tenants, process agent letters, officers' certificates, deeds of release, consents and waiver letters
  • Drafting board minutes, shareholder resolutions and ancillary documents
  • Reviewing and amending constitutional documents and related formalities
  • Ensuring compliance with filing requirements
  • Preparing standard form finance documents
  • Preparing first drafts of longer more sophisticated loan and security documents
  • Dealing with post completion matters


The Requirements

Banking & Finance paralegal experience is essential and it is anticipated that at least 2 years is needed to be able to hit the ground running in the senior level paralegal role.


The firm are open to someone currently at a similar sized city firm and equally from someone at a regional or smaller firm looking to take the step up.


The firm has a great track record of offering their paralegals training contracts.
