We’re seeking a Planning Policy Team Manager ready to lead from the front as we finalise our Local Plan and guide how our communities evolve over the coming years. What you’ll be doing Lead and inspire the Planning Policy and Land Charges team. Drive the Local Plan through submission, examination, and adoption. Oversee Section 106 monitoring, ensuring contributions are secured. Support and guide the high-performing Land Charges service. Collaborate with Members, senior officers, and regional partners. Represent the council at committees, hearings, and examinations. What we’re looking for Comfortable leading complex and high-profile projects Experience preparing and delivering Local Plans RTPI membership (or eligibility). Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills. A calm, pragmatic approach and the ability to motivate others.
