TasksSupport the Group Practice Manager with staff management ensuring adherence to HFPG policies and procedures.
Organise recruitment induction and training for staff.
Track and report progress on targets including QOF enhanced services and CQC compliance.
Identify underperformance and implement improvement plans in coordination with GPs and the Practice Manager.
Stay updated on NHS/ICB changes and identify opportunities or risks.
Ensure compliance with NHS patient care obligations.
Support the clinical director with PCN staff management and appraisals.
aintain uptodate HR documentation (e.g. job descriptions policies contracts).
Requirements- A degree or diploma in Healthcare Management Business Administration Human Resources or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or training in management (e.g. ILM Level 5 or CMI Level 5 in Leadership and Management) can be advantageous.
- Knowledge or certification in Practice Management (e.g. AMSPAR Association of Medical Secretaries Practice Managers Administrators and Receptionists).
Work Experience: At least 25 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferably in a healthcare or primary care setting.
- Experience with NHS systems and processes such as QOF CQC compliance and enhanced services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with team management HR and financial oversight.
- IT Skills: Competence in using healthcare IT systems (e.g. EMIS SystmOne) and Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
