We are looking for a knowledgeable individual to join Talbots as Solicitor within our New Homes Department. To be successful, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience running a caseload specialising in New Homes conveyancing.
As a Solicitor within the New Homes Department, you will be expected to offer to offer an excellent service to clients and provide accurate legal guidance on a broad range of matters and assisting with the future development of the department.

What the job involves;nConducting and managing cases from instruction through to post-completion.nMaintaining and developing strong client relationships with a wide range of clients and introducers.nManaging a full caseload focusing on New Build transactions, including sales and purchases of leasehold and freeholds, registered titles and unregistered titles, re-mortgages, plot purchases, transfers of equity, part-exchange work and shared ownership.nProviding an excellent service to clients and introducers, maintaining regular and proactive contact throughout the process to all parties.nBeing actively involved in the development of the department, including the training and supervising of Paralegals and Trainee Solicitors
What you need:nThe successful candidate will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive, and Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer specialising in New Build Properties.nYou will have an excellent knowledge of relevant law and practice, including a proven track-record of the Conveyancing processes.nBe detail-driven, have excellent communication skills and be a motivated & organised team-player.
