A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Partner to join a leading regional law firm in Guildford as part of their plans to grow the department. This strategic appointment offers the chance to work alongside highly regarded partners - many with City backgrounds - advising on complex, high-value corporate transactions across a broad client base that includes owner-managed businesses, large corporates, and private equity investors. The Role As Corporate Partner, you will: Lead and manage complex corporate matters including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and reorganisations. Drive business development and strengthen client and referrer relationships across the South East and London. Provide strategic, commercially-focused advice across a range of sectors. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless client service. Mentor and develop senior associates and other team members to support growth and excellence. Play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the corporate practice and the wider firm. About You Qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience (typically 8+ years PQE) in corporate law. Existing Partner, Legal Director, or ambitious Senior Associate ready for partnership. Strong technical expertise combined with commercial insight and leadership skills. Proven ability to develop business and maintain long-term client relationships. Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Why Join?
