Our client based in Wakefield is a premier fabrication company working with world leading brands.
We are looking for a TIG welder on a permanent bases.
The beauty of this role is that's its a 4 day week No working Fridays here
Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 17.30pm - NO FRIDAYS
We are looking for a TIG Welder with at least 2 years recent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform TIG welding tasks to the highest standards, ensuring precision and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on materials and project specifications.
• Inspect and test welded components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to pass a weld test to demonstrate proficiency in TIG welding.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to welding.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
