About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team starting in September 2024. This full-time, long-term role is a replacement position, stepping in to provide essential support and continuity for our students. The successful candidate will work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, supporting a variety of subjects and activities.
Application Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with HLTA qualifications.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
• A passion for supporting and nurturing the educational and emotional development of children.
• Experience with SEN support would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and supporting small group and one-on-one interventions.
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons alongside the teaching staff.
• Providing additional support for students with special educational needs.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
• Contributing to the school's wider community and participating in school events.
