Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Domain Expert to join our team for a pharmaceutical client in Hook, UK. This role focuses on Record-to-Report (R2R) processes with a blend of business consulting, technical expertise, and client-facing responsibilities. You will play a key role in delivering critical financial projects and consulting engagements across various SAP FICO submodules.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Engagements : Guide the entire consulting lifecycle from problem definition to diagnosis, solution design, development, and deployment. You will contribute to unit-level organizational initiatives and provide high-impact solutions for business processes.
  2. Business Consulting : Serve as a Domain Specialist, working closely with business SMEs to understand and translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions. You will interact fluently in business language and possess deep technical expertise in SAP FICO.
  3. Functional Leadership : Oversee end-to-end processes for FICO implementations, including conducting workshops, designing solutions, data migration, testing, and hyper-care cutover activities.
  4. SAP Expertise : Configure, support, and manage SAP FICO landscapes, covering submodules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management, Controlling, Product Costing, and Bank Integration.
  5. Team Management : Provide excellent leadership to your team, ensuring collaborative success in delivering projects.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Mandatory :
  • At least 15 years of experience working in R2R as a Functional Consultant across FICO submodules.
  • Deep expertise in Controlling & Product Costing , Profit Center Accounting , Material Ledger , and FI integration with MM, SD , and FSCM .
  • Experience with Global Delivery Models (GDM) and cross-functional team management.
  • Proven ability to configure and support SAP landscapes.
  • Strong experience in client-facing business consulting roles, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Preferred :
  • Experience as a Functional Lead in FICO implementations, leading workshops, and supporting full lifecycle implementations, including design, testing, and cutover activities.
  • Exposure to ABAP development and debugging is highly desirable.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Minimum Years of Experience : 15 years
  • At least 10 years of FI experience and 5 years of SAP CO experience.
  • Demonstrable expertise in leading engagements at various stages and working in global, cross-functional environments.
