Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Are you a qualified Accountant looking for your next opportunity to make a difference? We are looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fixed term contract until 31/05/2026. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and delivering accurate, timely reporting to regulators and stakeholders. This role is hybrid - remote working and one day per week in our central Leeds office. About the role As Regulatory Reporting Accountant , you will - Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with statutory deadlines Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal teams to resolve queries Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact Support the Finance department with ad-hoc analysis and reporting Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all submissions About you We’re looking for someone who is a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge. You will – Be highly analytical with excellent attention to detail Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly Be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment Be comfortable working with large data sets and financial systems Ideally have experience in Financial Services About us At YBS we don’t have shareholders, we have members.
