The Group Reporting Account is a varied role focusing on the Group's IFRS consolidation, holding company accounting and statutory accounts preparation, with a key involvement in the annual financial statement audit.The role will also incorporate assisting with IT cost accounting and forecasting, and ad-hoc internal audit to ensure a strong control framework is in place across the Group's operating units.This is a Hybrid working role. This will be based in our Leeds office 2 days a week.Key Duties Will IncludeDealing with audit requests and supplying supporting financial information to the Group's auditors as part of the year end Group auditPreparing Group consolidation adjustments and the Group consolidated balance sheet, as well as non-trading company financial accounts on a monthly basisProducing year-end statutory accounts for UK entities and support with preparation of the Group consolidated accountsProviding technical accounting expertise for the Group and country operating units, and maintaining the Group Accounting Policy ManualAssisting the Group IT finance business partner with Group IT cost accounting and forecastingPerforming ad-hoc internal audit of balance sheet reconciliations and controls across the Group's country operating unitsProviding support to Group Reporting Director and CFO on variety of other projectsThe PersonChartered accountant with audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 backgroundDetailed working knowledge of IFRS16 (leases) essentialExperience in auditing or preparing IFRS accounts essentialHands on attitude and excellent work ethicUnderstands importance of compliance and proactive interpretation of guidelinesStrong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines with demonstrable organisational skillsIs resilient and passionate about their roleExcellent Excel skillsExperience with large multinational businesses is desirableExperience dealing with auditors and other professional advisorsPureGym is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
