Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Part-time hours considered for the right candidate)

Role Overview: TimePlan Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This rewarding role involves providing personalised support to a student in Reception with Autism (ASD) and communication difficulties, helping them to thrive in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a student in Reception with Autism (ASD) and communication difficulties.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO.
Assist the student in accessing and engaging with the primary curriculum.
Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with the student.
Communicate effectively with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure the student's needs are met.
Adapt teaching materials and strategies to meet the student's unique learning requirements.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) (desirable).
Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the student.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Understanding of the primary curriculum.
Collaborative and able to work effectively with the SENCO and other staff members.
Possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.Benefits:
