Job Purpose.

The right person will:

- Have experience working with pupils with SEN, be able to form a strong relationship and trust with the child. Be able to provide daily consistent care, 1-1 activities, time in the garden, at the park, and support when we go for walks. - Make the child’s day more comfortable and enjoyable. The 1-1 is extremely important to allow the child to be able to be in the garden when the majority are inside or vice versa. - Support the sensory needs of the child. Be able to challenge the cognition and learning of the child. Be able to work on Pupil Progress targets/Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) targets (if applicable). Be used to working closely with the team, SENCO, and external professionals. Be flexible, pro-active and hands-on. Have vision, energy and enthusiasm for this challenge and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Be experienced in establishing and maintaining good professional relationships.
